23 Mar UK Launch of Pelvi Power Technology at MEPS London
EVB Sport invited to UK Launch of Pelvi Power Chair
EVB Sport was invited to the UK launch of the Pelvi Power Pontemed Clinic in London on Tuesday 19th March. Representatives from Pontemed Group were there to demonstrate their new technology and discuss the research behind the magnetic pelvic floor training devise. Leading UK women’s health physiotherapist Maria Elliott is the first Physiotherapist in the UK to be using the chair in her Therapy Clinics.
On hand to discuss the innovation was Aoife Ni Eochaidh Senior Physiotherapist at the Bons Secours Galway. We will take a visit in the next few weeks to Galway to get a trial of the chair and hear in more detail how this technology helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.
The event was held in The Functional Gut Clinic in the Centre of London and we took the opportunity to speak to Dr Anthony Hobson founder of the clinic about the clinical trials they undergo at the clinic. http://www.thefunctionalgutclinic.com/
The Functional Gut Clinic is the UK’s first dedicated, independent GI Physiology service. Our core interest is to use state of the art technology to try and understand how your gut is functioning and to identify what is causing your troublesome symptoms.
We got to meet many of our UK clinical ambassadors including Gemma Pilkinton of GP Physiotherapy who wrote a fabulous blog for us recently in relation to Diastis Recti https://evbsport.com/5-top-tips-tummy-gap-diastasis-recti/
EVB Sport ambassador Maria Elliott was joined by Leading Women’s health Physiotherapist Kate Walshe and Martha Kinsella of Maria Elliott Physiotherapy Services.
We look forward to hearing more from the Pontemed Group when we visit their Galway Clinic. For further information please contact http://pontemedireland.com/
